Politics are a cut throat business. Hundreds of grifters jockeying for position. They form shallow and constantly shifting alliances, and will turn on anyone in a heartbeat if advances their standing. #Metoo canceling is just a way to get it done. And in his case, well-deserved. Not because he may actually have been "guilty" (as you point out), but because he was a vocal advocate of #Meetoo canceling of others based on flimsy accusations. See, e.g., "Kavanaugh is a rapist" - He got a taste of his own medicine.

Like many others, I was glad to see Cuomo go down. The whole #metoo thing seemed contrived (like Al Capone and tax evasion) but it got the job done. I had not stopped to consider the dishonesty of it all and the seeming win for cancel culture and victimhood. You make valid points!
