"I feel an intense desire to sit these people down, people like Taylor Lorenz and Ben Collins and Yoel Roth, all of whom should be limited to a firm and neurologically imperative 30 minutes a day on Twitter, and to look them dead in the eye and tell them, “You are pretentious, ignorant, cretinous fucks.” They covet a vision of themselves as morally superior and significant. It is essential to their self-perception, and I would love nothing more than to divest them of this delusion. "

This is it! The entire enchilada. The correction happens only if and when we are able to take back the airwaves and wires to deliver the proper dose of humiliation directed at these people... the goal being to negative brand them for their blatant nasty vitriol, evil intent and dripping hypocrisy.

My picture is a bunch of mentally unstable clowns with fangs and claws with blood-stained tears flowing from their eyes. Someone once called them "crybullies"... I think the label is on-point.

I think it starts by going out and slapping our weak-ass comedians that buy into this woke BS.

These people and the Democrat machine they back are a reputational house of cards that Musk and a few others are seemingly alone in trying to knock down. My worry is that they have so brainwashed the kids... kids that vote... that we will keep empowering the clowns in elections to thwart the societal changes building. I think this gets back to what Mike Pompeo recently said... that Randi Weingarten is the most dangerous person on the national stage today. It seems that, in addition to the comedian-slapping, reforming K-12 teacher unions is another required step in fixing what is broken.

One of the interesting aspects of this for me (besides the fact that this confirms once again the liberal turn against free speech and free expression) is that it shows the Social Justice/Corporate State ruling Church/State alliance in action.

When the Corporatists merged with or acquired the New Left what they most wanted out of the deal was access to their proprietary superweapon, the Bigotry Accusation. This means that whenever they face an obstacle or a setback (in anything from elections to borders to Covid etc), a button is pressed and out pops the weepy Karens (Lorenz being Queen Karen) and a host of spurious academic "experts" to cry "Think of the marginalized!" or "RACIST!!" and to basically play the role of kindergarten teacher when she catches a kid stealing someone else's cookie. "How could you think of free speech at a time like this? Little [Black/Brown] Bobby is crying, and unless you apologize immediately and do what we say, he may be in serious danger."

And now that they may be starting to lose control, all these hysterical tactics of emotional blackmail and moral bullying are only going to get worse.

If there's any doubt in anyone's mind how susceptible most people are to propaganda, you don't have to go that far back to see when the left NPCs were reprogrammed to hate Musk. He's someone the left should love, instead of just fucking off after making his millions, he literally risked it ALL on 3 companies (Tesla, solar city, SpaceX), all of which provided high paying jobs and were started with the express purpose of making the future better for us all.

Zubrin is pretty cantankerous and it takes a lot to impress him. What's the most hilarious redditism is people saying that Elon is actually dumb and didn't contribute to his companies, just paid to sit in front of them. Zubrin said between the first and second time he met Elon, Elon learned essentially everything about rocketry, and was instrumental in the development of an entirely new engine (the Merlin in F9).

The absolute mouth breathing idiocy the left displays here is just breathtaking. Great piece, as always

Two of my local news stations also published that AP tweet (not changing a single letter, obviously). They want to show exactly what they are capable of -- step out of line and get squished, even if you're formerly a darling of the left.

"and that’s because online censorship has long been the most invaluable tool of the Democratic party, legacy media, and the U.S. security state."

All within the state; nothing outside of the state.

There must be a term for this sort of state-corporate partnership to clamp down on dissidents....

Well said and on point. People need simply to get out of Musk's way and reap the benefits.

It has been a long time since I agreed with every single word of an author in an essay. I can't even imagine what is happening live in America. Even Don Antonio Guterres did not count on this when he was the president of the Socialist International and its new program documents were being created.

In the case of manifest progressivism, these are mostly monosymptomatic psychotic disorders, in which a critical number of symptoms can be identified even across the ocean. Where does the charm ("charm") and attraction ("attraction") of socialism come from, that young people are enchanted by it again and again. This question occupied Gustave Le Bon even at the end of his life.

Well, this is fantastic………..I thought that I had heard some snippet about Musk developing (might) his own phone…..I’d sign up in a New York Minute. What an incredible human being.

Thanks for your post today………loved it!

If there is actual violence happening that's a case for the police (unless it has been defunded), not Twitter moderators. Words aren't violence, opinions aren't either and nobody forces you to listen to anyone on Twitter (or in fact to use it at all).

Why the enthusiasm for silencing Alex Jones? A few years ago I regarded Jones as nothing more than a batty windbag. But his deplatforming by Big Tech was the canary in the coal mine for online censorship.

Then came the phenomenonal miscarriage of justice wherein a kangaroo court, presided over by an openly prejudiced badjudge, fined Mr Jones one billion trillion kazillion dollars for the "crime" of reporting news that contradicted the global regime's official narrative. And now even "free speech advocates" want to make sure he stays censored on Twatter.

Frankly, Mr Jones still strikes me as a batty windbag. But the desperate efforts to silence him make it pretty darn clear that he _must be_ speaking some important truths.
